Tashina received her B.S. in Genetics, Cell Biology, and Development (GCD) from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities.  Her research interests include molecular biology, virology, and RNA.  Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, playing board games with friends, and learning about history.

Stephanie supports the lab’s financial and administrative operations, helping maintain smooth project coordination and regulatory compliance for international collaborations. She is beginning her master’s training in genetic counseling, bringing a patient‑centered perspective to the lab’s research community.
